While the first days - well almost all days - have been dark and depressing, with a lot of snow, wind, unpassable streets, freezing temperatures the sun showed itself beautifully in the last days.

What else - beside earning money - to do than shooting icicles with sunlight during the golden hour and during twilight. 

While some of the lakes around Neubrandenburg are covered with snow, the "Tollensesee" isn´t. The lake is frozen enough for the first people go ice-skating on. Trustworthy for me to also take the risk and shooting icicles while laying on the frozen surface.

 And what beautiful light I/we got. Joined by Sandra we both experienced the beauty of coldness and light and left in the darkness with frozen hands and feets. 

So hoping the incoming snow does' cover all those beauties!
